About this course

This pathway connects the supporting tissues of the teeth and disease mechanisms with examination, classification, prognosis and treatment planning. It reviews nonsurgical and surgical care alongside peri-implant health and periodontal maintenance.

Topics include: Periodontal anatomy, biofilm and host response; Classification, examination and prognosis; Gingival disease and acute conditions; Plaque control, instrumentation and reassessment; Flap surgery, regeneration and periodontal plastic surgery; Peri-implant disease and maintenance care.
